This patient came to our office desiring a new upper denture. Her old denture fit poorly, did not function well and did not meet the patient's aesthetic ideal. The process of fabricating the new denture began with obtaining a very accurate impression using a custom tray and border molding. Next bite records were fabricated and the patient helped select a tooth color to compliment her lower teeth. The patient returned to our office to evaluate the aesthetics of the denture teeth, set in wax on the actual denture base. This way we were able to make changes until she was satisfied with the appearance before finishing the denture.
