This patient had trauma to her front right tooth when she was a child and had problems with the tooth since that time. When she came to our office the gingiva was dark gray around the tooth. To solve this problem the tooth was extracted and an implant was placed. The patient wore a temporary implant crown until the implant was fully integrated. The definitive restoration consisted of a custom abutment and a porcelain implant crown.
